Engaging Activities On Display

The residents’ many diverse interests and requests drive much of the abundant programming.

Monarch Landing held its annual Club and Committee Fair, featuring more than 30 exhibits representing the abundant programming at the senior living community in Naperville.

The residents’ many diverse interests and requests drive much of the programming. “There’s a lot of opportunity for residents to pursue their hobbies, or start new ones,” said Margaret Scanlon-Dalke, life enrichment manager. Groups include the new casino club, Treasure Chest resale shop, travel club, library club, model train club, bridge, astronomy, and many more. “We also encourage residents to suggest new groups.  If there’s something in which they’re interested, and we don’t have an existing program, we’ll try to start one.”

Margaret added that the Club and Committee Fair is a great way to show off the talents and interests of the residents, as well as provide ideas and opportunities for residents wishing to get more involved.
