The Springs at Monarch Landing in Naperville Earns Multiple Honors and Awards

The Springs of Monarch Landing has been recognized by residents, rehab guests and families, the news media, peers in the profession, and corporate leadership for being among the very best. The Springs of Monarch Landing in Naperville is officially among the very best nursing homes offering short-term rehab, skilled nursing, and memory care. Most recently, Newsweek placed The Springs on the list of America’s Best Nursing Homes 2025. The elite list recognizes 1,050 nursing homes across the 25 states with the highest number of skilled nursing facilities. The ranking took into consideration four pillars: performance data, recommendations of medical professionals, accreditations, and resident satisfaction. The Springs placed number two in Illinois, second to its sister community, The Clare, in Chicago.

The Springs has also been designated one of America’s Best Nursing Homes by U.S. News 2025. This initiative evaluated 15,000 nursing homes nationwide and rated them in short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Six hundred eighty-two nursing homes in Illinois were assessed; five, including The Springs, received an overall rating of five out of five stars in all categories.

The Springs has also earned the prestigious five-star rating from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Only the top nursing homes achieve this honor. Fewer still earn five stars in each qualifying category, resulting in the 5-star composite score: health inspections, staffing, and quality measures. The Springs is the only skilled nursing home in Chicago’s west suburban area, to have earned five stars in every category. This is the highest possible score that a CMS-certified provider can receive.

For the third consecutive year, the Springs has earned the Gold Level Award for Heartfelt Connections-A Memory Care Program. This program was developed by Life Care Services ®, An LCS ® Company that manages Monarch Landing. The Gold Level Award signifies the senior living community’s commitment to providing the highest level of care and support for residents in memory care.

The prestigious collection of honors earned this year,  also extend to individual staff members. Recently, Dulce Dangis, director of nursing at The Springs, was named the Director of Nursing of the Year by the Long-Term Care Nurses Association.
